Rental terms & conditions
How our toy and book rentals work in and around Amravati. By renting from us, you agree to these guidelines so play stays joyful, safe and fair for everyone.
Draft for business review. These terms reflect how Pustak Pitara works today and should be checked by the business before launch.
01Eligibility & responsible use
- Rentals are for personal, non-commercial use unless we have agreed otherwise for events, schools or other institutions.
- All toys must be used under adult supervision—especially big toys like battery cars, trampolines, slides and jungle gyms.
- Use toys as intended, in suitable spaces (stable, level surfaces for big toys).
02Rental duration
- Standard rental periods are weekly and monthly for toy and book library items.
- Event and birthday rentals are usually per event or per day, as agreed when booking.
- Extensions are possible subject to availability; the rental charge for the extra period applies.
03Delivery & pickup
- Delivery and pickup are free across Amravati. Addresses further out are subject to confirmation and may carry an extra charge, shared with you before booking.
- Please make sure someone is available at the confirmed address at delivery and pickup time, or tell us in advance to reschedule.
04Damage, loss & missing pieces
- Real play isn’t always neat. If a toy breaks in normal use or a few puzzle pieces go missing, the replacement cost is on Pustak Pitara—not you.
- Normal wear and tear, minor scratches and marks are not charged.
- For clear misuse, intentional damage or non-return, we may charge up to the item’s replacement cost after discussing it openly with you.
- Please tell us about any existing damage when your toys arrive so we can record it.
05Cleanliness on return
- We clean and sanitize every toy and book after each rental.
- Please avoid permanent stains (paint, markers, harsh chemicals) and leaving toys outdoors in harsh weather. Heavily soiled items are reviewed case by case.
06Booking & payment
- Website rental requests hold your toys straight away; our team confirms delivery details by call or WhatsApp.
- All rentals are cash on delivery—pay when your toys arrive. We don’t take online payments.
- The price that applies is the one confirmed at booking.
07Cancellations & rescheduling
- Please let us know as early as possible if you need to cancel or move a date. See our Cancellation & Refund Policy for details.
08Event & party rentals
- Event bookings may need an advance to block the date, agreed when you book.
- Setup and pickup times, venue access and layout must be coordinated in advance.
- We’re responsible for the toys and setups we provide; supervision and crowd control remain with the host unless staffing is separately agreed.
09Changes to these terms
- We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page applies to all new rentals.
