IT BEGAN WITH A SEARCH
From “no toy library in Amravati” to a city full of play
When founder Nikita Laddha went looking for a good toy library in Amravati for her curious 7-year-old and mischievous 3-year-old, she found… nothing. That gap became the spark for Pustak Pitara—a place where high-quality toys and books are shared, loved and returned instead of bought, ignored and stored.
What started as a simple wish for better play options turned into a mission to bring screen-free joy, creativity and hands-on learning to families. Today, Pustak Pitara is a trusted name for toys on rent in Amravati, with 282 toys to rent online, a growing book collection, big toy rentals, events, workshops and play dates.

Nikita Laddha
A teacher at heart, an engineer by training and a forever student of life. Becoming a mom to a curious explorer and a mischievous sidekick sparked the idea that became Pustak Pitara. Between building this playful world, Ph.D. research and the family business, she turns ideas into smiles every day.
Co-Innovator
Deepa Kalantri Chandak
This journey began with an idea and took flight because of a sister. A birthday “I’m thinking of starting something like this…” received an instant “Go for it!”. Since then, Deepa has been the cheerleader, guide and gentle push behind Pustak Pitara’s growth.
